About The Artist

Do you consider yourself an amateur or professional photographer? Please explain.

Hmmm. That's a bit like asking if dawn is night or day. I think a little of both. I consider myself at the dawn of professional.

How did you get started in photography?

My great-grandfather was an amazing photographer of the old west. I think it runs in the blood, though I didn't discover my passion for it until about seven years ago. Now, I never go anywhere without my DSLR in hand. I can't believe I spent so much of my life without a camera to my eye.

What area of photography do you specialize in?

Nature and travel photography. I have an obsession for photographing bees.

How do you distribute your photo products?

I sell cards and prints and have exhibited locally. I also have a website, www.redroadimages.com

How have Photographer's Edge products helped you grow as a photographer?

I saw a photo card at the local wild animal park, and purchased the card just so I could figure out how the artist got their picture to look so good! Whe I discovered it was a PE product, I purchased a variety to try out, which led to more orders. I love the professional look of my photos in the cards and they are great sellers.
